Dr. Josh Tyquin
Dr Josh Tyquin was first introduced to Chiropractic at the age of 8 after suffering a sporting injury. It was after this positive personal experience that Josh decided to pursue a career in Chiropractic.
Josh continues to love his sport and has played a high level of cricket for St. Kilda Cricket Club and football for De La Salle Old Collegians in the VAFA. He is therefore naturally focused on sporting injuries, rehabilitation, mechanics of the human body and maintaining spinal health. Josh understands the need to prevent injury by maintaining optimum health.
Josh is dedicated to his patients to achieve best possible function through Chiropractic care; assisting people of all ages and walks of life to recover from and prevent painful spinal conditions.
During his career Josh has treated a diverse group of patients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions spanning from low back pain, neck pain and muscle tension.
Josh is a proud graduate from RMIT University in Bundoora where he honed his skills to prepare him for a long and fulfilling career. Being a member of the Australian Chiropractors Association he keeps up to date with the latest news and research to ensuring he is giving his patient the best possible care.
Through continuous study Josh has special interests in Non Surgical Spinal Decompression (NSSD). Having successfully treated many patients with traction therapy over the years, it was an obvious and natural progression to introduce NSSD’s more targeted and sophisticated therapy to his patients. Particularly those who suffer from more chronic conditions such as sciatica and disc issues or who are trying to avoid invasive surgery.
Josh is available for consultations Monday to Saturday in Hawthorn.
